The MTV VMAs wil be airing next Sunday and I noticed that the colors this year are black, white, purple & pink. So, I decided to do an eye featuring those colors. I've been thinking about re-creating Emma Watson's eye makeup from the New York premier of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 with Sugarpill's Goldilux CromaLust instead of gold leaf. But, once I decided to do this VMA look, I thought that it would be more interesting to do something inspired by her eye makeup, using the VMA colors. This is what I came up with...

NARS Autumn 2011 Re-creation Attempt
I don't have any of the NARS products that were used on the model and I'm sure that I don't have them, so I just made due with what I do have. I didn't bother to do the whole face, because I wouldn't ever dare to put a picture of my face anywhere near her's. LOL! Plus, I don't think that I have a blush that is close enough to the one that she has on. Although, I do have Gina & it MIGHT be similar. I'm quite confident that Revlon's Smoked Peach Matte lipstick with a tiny bit of clear gloss over it would look very similar to what she's wearing, though. Anyway, this is what I was able to do...
